Applying design principles
Adverts should make you laugh, cry, or think.
They also need to be understood quickly enough before the reader diverts their attention. For a poster this size, intended for placement in tube stations, it’s about 1.5 seconds.
I wanted to convey an uncomfortable feeling of crowding and chaos, highlighting the importance of being respectful while travelling.
Using my knowledge of colour, balance, composition and copy, I designed this poster to be easily readable. and understood.
